Investigating - Zai Engineers have detected a recurrence of the upstream card payment issue experienced on Friday. While not all transactions are impacted, some errors may again be experienced when using the make_payment and charges endpoints.
Our team is in contact with our upstream provider to prioritise resolution of this issue. We’ll continue to share updates as soon as more information is available.

As part of necessary infrastructure upgrades, we will be performing a scheduled database maintenance for our Cards Service:

During this time, the Cards Service will be temporarily unavailable. This maintenance is required to upgrade our database infrastructure to meet AWS requirements ahead of their upcoming deadline.

Our upstream provider will be undertaking planned maintenance activities this week, with some impact anticipated for Zai APIs.

New cards may not be added during this time, and transaction status updates may also be significantly delayed. This will apply for both Production and Prelive environments.

Resolved - Our upstream provider has confirmed that they have resolved today’s partial cards processing issue, and we have monitored that services have been operating normally since 3:59pm AEST.
