Scheduled

Zai will be carrying out essential core system maintenance during this time.

During the maintenance window:
• Access to our Production APIs and Zai Dashboard will be unavailable for up to 90 minutes.
• Some processing will be temporarily delayed until the work is complete.

Service downtime will begin shortly after 8:00pm, and our team will restore services as soon as possible.

UNAVAILABLE SERVICES

The following services will be unavailable during this maintenance period:

• All realtime Cards transactions (for asynchronous Cards transactions see “Delayed Services” section)
• Direct Debit transactions
• PayTo agreements and transactions
• BPAY, NPP, and Direct Entry Payouts
• Creation and management of Users, Items, Wallets, Bank Accounts, and BPAY Accounts
• Zai Dashboard website

API requests submitted during this period will receive a 5xx response and will need to be retried once the maintenance window has ended.

———

DELAYED SERVICES

The following services will continue to receive transactions, but processing will occur after maintenance is complete:

• NPP Payins to digital wallets - Funds will still leave the payer’s account in real time, but will be credited to wallets once processing resumes
• BPAY and Direct Entry Payins
• Tag and Queue (asynchronous) Cards transactions will be accepted and queued for later processing

———

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

• Avoid submitting non-urgent API transactions during the maintenance window.
• Inform your customers or teams in advance if they may be impacted.
• Schedule any time-critical transactions outside the maintenance period.

———

We understand that an interruption of this length is not ideal. This work has been carefully planned and scheduled to minimise disruption. Completing this upgrade now will improve overall system reliability and reduce the need for similar downtime in the future.

We appreciate your patience while we make these necessary improvements and apologise for any inconvenience.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to your Account Manager or contact Technical Support at support@zaipayments.com.
